Transitory Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders in Newborn

Documentation of a newborn with hypoglycemia should indicate whether the mother had preexisting diabetes or whether the maternal diabetes was acquired during gestation
The treating physician should clearly identify any transitory electrolyte or metabolic disorders including dehydration, sodium or potassium imbalance, or late metabolic acidosis of newborn

Any known causes or underlying conditions, comorbidities, associated problems, abnormal vitals, underdosing of medications, hemorrhage, change in medications, smoking, etc.
