- ICD-10 assumes heart valve diseases are rheumatic, but if this is not the case document nonrheumatic
Necessary Procedures
- Cardiac catheterization, echocardiogram, percutaneous balloon valvuloplasty, TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation), etc.
