  • Type of physeal fracture:
    • Type I
    • Type II
    • Type III
    • Type IV
  • 1) delayed healing, 2) malunion, 3) nonunion or 4) routine healing/aftercare
  • Sequela-late effect, such as conditions that arise from an injury

Name

  • Physeal fractures may be referred to as Salter-Harris fractures or traumatic epiphyseal separations

Necessary Procedures

  • Interventions as appropriate, including closed reductions and casting/splinting and open reduction and internal fixation
