  • Chest wall (musculoskeletal), precordial, intercostal, epigastric, jaw, neck, arm, shoulder, chest pain on respiration, pleurodynia, etc.

  • Acute, chronic or acute-on-chronic

Name

  • Underlying cause, if known or suspected-ACS (unstable angina), angina (stable), AMI, CAD, GERD, pleurisy, anxiety, etc.

Necessary Procedures

  • Diagnostics to support a more specific diagnosis-EKG, stress test, troponins, etc.

Other

  • Patient is diaphoretic, anemic or has dyspnea
  • Presence of hypoxemia/hypercapnea

Why

  • All comorbid conditions, underdosing of medications, tobacco history, etc.
